Recall Polis-Griswold 2021

RUMOR: 2019 Recall Leadership is/has been involved in Recall Polis 2020 and Recall Polis-Griswold 2021.

FACT: Following their inability to gather the required signatures, the 2019 Polis Recall leadership focused

on other issues and has not begun, nor joined, subsequent campaigns to recall Polis.


RUMOR: Contributions to Recall Polis 2020 were stolen/unaccounted for such as is alleged to have

occurred in 2019.

FACT: A GoFundMe account set up for legal fees by Recall Polis 2020 was never withdrawn but rather

returned in full to all contributors when a patriot attorney donated his services. In addition, petitions were

paid for directly without public contributions.


RUMOR: Recall Polis 2020 obtained the required number of signatures but waited until the final minutes

to submit with the SOS closing her office early to prevent the submission.

FACT: Polis’ Covid restrictions suppressed the efforts of 1600 dedicated volunteers across the state to

obtain the required signatures. SOS staff has been working from home since March 2020, an appointment

was required to submit signatures. An appointment was not made as the required number of signatures

were not obtained.


RUMOR: People who signed in 2019 and/or 2020 cannot sign in 2021.

FACT: Everyone signs again since 0 signatures were submitted to the SOS in 2019 and 2020 due to not

obtaining the minimum required.


Additional Facts:

Recall Polis 2020 was terminated after the Extension Request to continue obtaining signatures lingered in

limbo of Colorado courts for four months. Upon the advice of our attorney we began anew with Recall

Polis 2021. Griswold was added to the Recall on July 1, 2021.

Recall Polis-Griswold 2021 is currently registered with the State as a Special Issue Committee with

monthly Tracer Reports filed detailing contributions and expenses. Tracer reports are public information
